Mike Weiss Gallery was founded as an innovative showcase for the presentation and promotion of strong, visceral, and visionary contemporary art worldwide. The gallery exhibited work of ambitious contemporary artists at all levels of their careers and development. Located in the Chelsea arts district of New York City on 24th Street from 2003 to 2016, the gallery presented over 100 solo exhibitions, participated in numerous art fairs and was reviewed by major publications including Artforum, Art News, and the New York Times. The gallery also produced Mike Weiss Editions for the publication of books, prints and multiples by gallery artists.
